Ben Fogle: my favourite activity is the sky trekking

In the article he says "My favourite activity was the sky trekking, a series of wires connected to the surrounding canopy giving you a wonderful bird's-eye view of Herefordshire and Wales"!

Ben Fogle tries out the Sky Trek Experience!

Extreme adventurer and TV personality Ben Fogle tried out the unique Sky Trek Experience over the weekend at the University of the Great Outdoors Festival (UGO) at Hampton Court, Herefordshire. After he completed his flight, John Thomas, Managing Director of Llangorse Multi Activity Centre, asked him what he thought of it. Ben said he "absolutely loved the zip wire!" and that "it's quite speedy" and "a beautiful course". Take a look at the video & photos below...

Over 900 people try the Sky Trek Experience at the University of the Great Outdoors!

Over 900 people came to try out the Sky Trek Experience at the University of the Great Outdoors Festival (UGO) on the 1st & 2nd May 2010! As well as enjoying the thrill of sailing through the air on Sky Trek, visitors had a vast choice of activities to have a go at, all situated within the beautiful grounds of Hampton Court Estate, Herefordshire. As well as Sky Trek, Llangorse Multi Activity Centre also ran Bungee Running and Cargo Net Climbing, both of which are available at the centre.

Come and Have a Go!

Have you ever wanted to get a taste of the Sky Trek Experience? Come and Have a Go this weekend, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May 2010, at the University of the Great Outdoors (UGO) Festival to be held in the stunning grounds of Hampton Court, near Leominster, Herefordshire!

The Sky Trek zip line at Hampton Court is over 250 meters long, and travels through trees, over a river and above the rest of UGO festival along its course!

Sky Trek at UGO 2009The festival also offers many other activity taster sessions, including archery, canoeing, pony trekking, a climbing wall and bungee running. Sky Trek was the main attraction at last years festival, with over 900 people trying it out - so come early to avoid the rush!

Extreme adventurer and TV personality Ben Fogle will be the first person to try the Sky Trek zip line on Saturday morning, and will also be on hand to offer insights into his adventures and extreme sport experiences through scheduled talks, and will sign copies of his latest book, which will be on sale during the event.

So come along and have a go - you might just learn a new skill or get hooked on one of the wide range of exciting activities that can be enjoyed at the University of the Great Outdoors, at this action-packed weekend in beautiful, rural Herefordshire.

Sky Trek at Hampton Court, Herefordshire

Sky Trek was recently part of the University of the Great Outdoors event at Hampton Court, Herefordshire. Over 900 people enjoyed seeing the landscape of Herefordshire as they sailed through the air! The Sky Trek was opened by 'the Original Stig' (aka Perry McCarthy).
